Olivia Nocentini received her B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 2014, and her M.S. degree in Robotics and Automation Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 2018. She earned her Ph.D. in BioRobotics from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in 2023, with a thesis entitled "Study and Development of AI-Based Approaches for Cloth Manipulation Capabilities."
After completing her Ph.D., Olivia won a postdoctoral scholarship at the University of Florence, where she worked on human action recognition for rehabilitation. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology, focusing on computer vision. Her research interests include deep learning and human action recognition using cameras.
