Antonios E. Gkikakis is a postdoctoral researcher at the Exoskeletons Lab (XoLab) at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Genova, Italy. He received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Robotics from IIT and the University of Genova in 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Roy Featherstone and Prof. Darwin Caldwell. He has an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh (2016) and a B.Sc. in Informatics from the Athens University of Economics and Business (2014). His research interests include numerical optimization, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
